Setting up Timetables for your business

How do I set up Timetables?

You can define a timetable for your team, and you can also define timetables for each of your team members. if you'd like. To define a timetable for your Polaria team:

  1. Sign into your account by going to polaria.ai
  2. Open the Routing section from the left-hand side menu.
  3. Select the Timetable, Days off page from the Routing section.
  4. You should see 3 options: Edit my team's timetable - Edit my team's days off - Team members page
  5. Click on Edit my team's timetable.
  6. You can configure a timezone for your team's timetable, and configure the days and times that your team is online.


To define timetables for your Polaria team members:

  1. From your Timetable page, click on the Team members page.
  2. Choose the team member whose timetable you would like to set up.
  3. Click on Actions - Timetable & Days off.
  4. Click on Edit timetable.
  5. Here, it works the same as your team's timetable: you can choose a timezone and configure times and days your team member works.
Regarding Team members' timetables: If you are an admin, you can set up every team member's timetable. If you are not, you can only configure your own.


  • When the team's timetable is set to available and that one team member out of 5 is "off", live chat can occur.
  • When the team's timetable is set to available and all of the team members are "on", live chat can occur.
  • When the team's timetable is set to available but all team members are "off", live chat cannot occur.
  • When the team's timetable is set to unavailable but a team member is "on", live chat cannot occur.
  • When the team's timetable is set to unavailable and team members are "off", live chat cannot occur.


When a team member's timetable is undefined in Polaria, their timetable will be identical to the team timetable.


What if I have multiple brands?

If you have multiple brands on one Polaria account, you can access them from the top right-hand corner. (next to the toggle).

Our timetables are scoped by brand:

If, for brand 1 in particular, you would like to be available only on specific days, all you have to do is:

  1. Go onto your timetable, from the Timetable and Days off page.
  2. Set your timetable for that specific brand, either your team timetable or even your team member one.
  3. Save your timetable.

Then, if you wish, you can go to brand 2, and do the same there.
